Paperless Classroom-The Future of Public Education....Today!
Technology

I am looking forward to your children completing a successful
year!
Our classroom and curriculum has been designed to utilize the technology
that is available to us. Students create and maintain an "Electronic
Portfolio." This portfolio contains much of the work that the students complete during the year. Many of the assignments are saved using several aspects of Microsoft Office. Web page files are typically constructed using HTML programs from Adobe (Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, etc.)
FTP (File Transfer Protocol) access is not provided to us so Internet postings of this "Paperless Classroom" take place from outside the school. If in the future this changes, I would like to provide access to the Electronic Portfolios directly from this site. For now, please be patient as I must complete all work on this site at night from my home.
Classroom/District
Network- The Jackson
School District has installed a network that provides high speed Internet
access and software applications to the classroom. Currently, we have
one computer in our class and it is attached to this network. Students
use this computer to store information/assignments by transferring their
work from computer companions
- Laptop Computers
- Networking Gear
- Memory
- Wireless Keyboard
- Wireless Mouse
- Printer(s)
- PDA's
If you have any of these devices to donate to us, please E-mail me at
your convenience.
