Hints: As you are aware, your child's academic success begins at home. Although you will find various suggestions throughout this site, the most important thing a parent can do is stay involved. One of the easiest ways to find out what is going on in our classroom is to browse through the "Student Self Help Pages." Email me for the password to the student pages. You can then take a look at the online quizzes, webquests, problem based learning projects, etc. You can use the information to question your child on our class and the skills being covered.

"What is that thing my child talks about?" Many of the students in our classroom use a "computer companion." This is a device that enables your child to complete assignments electronically and submit them to me wirelessly. You may also send electronic notes to me with this (when taken home.) Make sure to come in for a demonstration during our Back to School nights. If you are/were unable to attend, feel free to contact me to make an appointment.
